Charles Nana Ofori is a seasoned Ghanaian executive with a distinguished career
spanning over four decades in banking, corporate governance, and financial
management. Charles is a graduate of the University of Ghana with a BA (Hons) in
Geography with Sociology and holds a Diploma in Banking from ACIB London.

Mr. Ofori began his career as an educator before transitioning into banking, where he
steadily advanced through roles at Agricultural Development. At Standard Chartered Bank, he rose from Relationship Manager to Regional Manager in Ghana and eventually served as Executive Director at SCB Uganda, overseeing multi-million-dollar balance sheets and pivotal financial transactions. As General Manager of Corporate & Institutional Banking at Merchant Bank Ghana Limited, he drove business growth and risk management initiatives, laying the groundwork for his later leadership roles as CEO of Security Discount Company and Zepto Ghana Limited. In recent years, Charles has leveraged his extensive experience in strategic
planning and governance as a former Director on the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital Board and GAB Micro Finance Company Ltd. 

His career is marked by landmark achievements—ranging from orchestrating multi-million-dollar syndicated loans and financing major infrastructure projects in Uganda and Ghana, to transforming underperforming institutions into award-winning enterprises. An avid golfer, reader, philanthropist, and traveller, Charles remains committed to excellence, innovation, and community development.
